Backboards are not interchangeable from manufacturer to manufacturer or even within most manufacturers own product lines. Backboards shown below are replacement backboards for wall mounted basketball systems. The backboards shown directly below can be used with systems other than First Team products provided the bolt mounting pattern for the mounting structure is compatible with the bolt mounting pattern for the backboard. The bolt mounting pattern for the rim to be used with the backboard must also be compatible with the rim bolt mounting pattern of the backboard. To obtain your existing mounting structure's bolt mounting pattern measure the backboard attachement hole of the structure from the bottom left attachment hole to the top left attachment hole (this is your vertical bolt mounting pattern dimension) then measure from the bottom left attachment hole to the bottom right attachment hole this is your horizontal bolt mounting pattern dimension. If you have an existing rim repeat the same procedure above to ascertain its mounting pattern, if you will be purchasing a new rim make sure that its mounting pattern is also compatible with the backboard you select. To select the correct backboard, the rim , backboard and mounting structure bolt mounting patterns must all be compatible with one another. Each replacement backboard shown below has a specific bolt mounting pattern shown, make sure that your mounting structure's bolt mounting pattern matches the backboard and rim bolt mounting patterns before making your purchase.
